Dowden's have installed and commissioned a new potable water treatment plant at the BMA Goonyella Riverside coal mine
Water Quality Requirements: Dual VSD pumps to supply raw water to ultrafiltration system for turbidity removal. Carbon filtration to remove taste and odour. Potable water disinfection via chlorine dosing.
Daily Treated Water Production: 100.0 KL
This is the second potable water plant that Dowden's have completed for BMA.
This system was installed and commissioned within 3 weeks to meet BMA's requirements.
The potable water treatment plant uses ultrafiltration technology to treat approximately 100.0 KL / day. The system produces potable water with a quality that exceeds the Australian drinking water guidelines and is used throughout the site.
